Transfer Team is another secondary division here at Atlas and a very selective one. To be a member of TT you must be offered by President of Transfers or a founder, other than this members will only be added through an application process. Transferring new members is a great way to build Atlas and have a great diversity but it is a delicate process. There are several steps to ensure that the transferee is legit as well as if they deserve the rank offered or not. Below are the guidelines for the Transfer Team members.
1. Eligibility
For someone to be able to transfer they need to meet the following criteria:
Anyone is able to check eligibility, a quick check of their badges & motto will reveal if they are able to start the transferring process.
2. Process
Once a person is deemed eligible for transfer you must ask for their agency/army's website to view their rank list.
Many agencies have similar rank systems so it shouldn't be to difficult to work out the equivalent rank for Atlas.
*A tip is consider the TOTAL number of section ranks, Atlas has 11. So if a person from KoH comes and is rank 11 out of 23 just divide it in half, their rank would be about equal to our 6th rank section.
No website, no rank list, no motto, no badges = NO TRANSFER
Take into consideration the following:
Time spent at current agency - transferees who have just joined their current agency should be offered a lower rank
Attitude - a poor attitude at the transfer desk means a poor attitude towards staff and a poor work ethic; offer a lower rank
Experience/Competence - an experienced agency member will understand commands and ranks and should be rewarded
If the transferee accepts the rank - ask them to request the correct badges, leave their old agency badges and give them the right motto.
If the transferee refuses the rank - politely inform them they are welcome to purchase a higher rank but that you can not offer them a higher rank
Once they have accepted the transfer you must post the information on the forum, failing to do so could mean removal from the TT.
3. Training
Once motto & badges are given it is now YOUR responsibility to train the new Atlas member. Only in certain cases should you be exempt from this.
Provide the correct training based on their rank whether it be in security, training, etc.
The MOST important thing is the transferee MUST create a forum account and post their promotion tag on the forums.
4. Completion
Once trained feel free to give the new member a tour of base. Show them which tele leads where, have them test out control commands, and answer any questions they may have
